Trinity Kids

Trinity Kids--TFC’s Children’s Ministry--nurtures faith in the next generation. Since we believe that our kids have been born “for such a time as this,” we are committed to their full spiritual potential and health. Trinity Kids is dedicated to teaching biblical truth, to training growing character, to showing how to serve, to providing opportunities for kids to serve, and to opening eyes to the mission of the worldwide church. Our children’s ministry meets during the second hour of our Sunday morning worship time and is intended for kids from age 2 through the sixth grade.

What material do you teach?

Pre-schoolers and grades K-1 use Gospel Light material. Classroom materials include flannel graph visual, teaching pictures, and songs. Take home papers are provided to allow parents to reinforce the Bible truth the children are learning.

Grades 2-3 use two curriculums provided by Desiring God Ministries, which rotate every other year. The ABC's of God uses the alphabet as a framework for teaching the attributes of God, this study explores the delight that God has in Himself as the source, means, and purpose of all things. Faithful to All His Promises teaches children that God's character is trustworthy; therefore, His promises are true and reliable.

Grades 4-6 use three curriculums that rotate every third year. To Be Like Jesus helps answer questions by explaining elements of the gospel message, its purpose, and promise. A major theme is the doctrine of sanctification--the process by which a Christian becomes more and more conformed to the likeness of Christ. How Majestic Is Your Name presents the Hebrew names of God in the Old Testament and the names of Christ and the Holy Spirit in the New Testament. Each lesson encourages children to see and rejoice in the goodness and greatness of God as they explore the meaning of His glorious names. My Purpose Will Stand teaches children to recognize God's providence in their lives and to joyfully trust His good purpose for them. Each lesson reveals that God is the sovereign ruler of the universe whose eye is watching over all things, and whose hand is working in all things.
