Women By DesignTFC’s pastors desire that every woman grow to live a life of faith that is characterized by passtionate devotion to Jesus and to the church. We are convinced that accomplishing that goal will be directly related to how well we accomplish a series of other goals.
1. The development of godly men
Since men are called to love and lead women through an attitude of service and sincerity that looks like Christ’s, any steps taken to help men in that role will serve to minister to the women at TFC.
2. A ministry of spiritual mothering
In the second chapter of the book of Titus, a ministry model is described in which older women mentor and teach younger women. We believe that this model should be pursued enthusiastically. The encouragement and counsel that can be provided by a mature Christian woman should be given to any Christian woman who could benefit from it. This sort of spiritual mothering involves teaching and modeling whatever is good so that women’s personal and spiritual maturity can grow. As a result, families will fall in line more directly with the vision that God has for the family.
3. Ministry by women
We believe that God has made women uniquely to be nurturers. As women discover and grow in that high calling, they can and should impact the life of the local church by bringing their unique, feminine contribution to the table in a wide range of ministries. The Bible and history both reveal a noble heritage of strength, sensitivity, courage, and godliness for women. We believe that the women of TFC will find their greatest joy in not just being Christians, but in being Christian women.
Women’s Bible studies, training series, fellowship times, shared ministry opportunities, prayer chains, ushering, Sunday morning greeting, and serving on music and other ministry teams are a few of the opportunities available to any woman who is a part of Trinity Fellowship Church.
